What is a Guardian Angel?
Several times each year, a Guardian Angel partners with Healing by the Numbers by matching every community donation made to the scholarship fund during a special campaign.
These campaigns inspire hundreds of small gifts, encourage new donors to give, and double the impact of every dollar donated.
Our last community matching campaign:
- Funded a $10,000 match in less than 24 hours.
- HelpedĀ fundĀ 180 scholarships in just three days.
- Distributed more than $20,000 in support.
How it works
Guardian Angels choose a matching amount that feels meaningful to them. Whether you'd like to sponsor a $1,000 match or something much larger,Ā I'd love to talk with you about what feels right.
We'll work together to determine:
- Campaign dates
- Whether you'd like to share your story or why you're supporting survivors
- How you'd like your impact recognized (or not recognized)
Every Guardian Angel receives
- Personal coordination with Dr. Ruth before, during, and after the campaign
- Daily campaign updates while the match is active
- A post-campaign impact report showing the campaign's results
- Access to the Angel Donor quarterly update dashboard
