Support a Survivor’s Healing Journey

Every day, survivors reach out saying the same thing:

“I want help. I want support. I want to heal… but I can’t afford it right now.”

The Healing by the Numbers Scholarship Fund exists so that no one is denied access to healing tools because of financial barriers. Your donation helps survivors of abuse gain life-changing clarity and validation at a time they need it most.

Choose your contribution. Every single dollar helps a survivor move one step closer to safety, clarity, and peace.

By donating, you are telling a survivor,

"YOU deserve support, even if life is hard right now.”

How It Works

  1. Choose a contribution amount (Pay What You Want)

  2. Your donation goes directly into the Scholarship Fund

  3. Survivors apply via a trauma-informed, no-shame application

  4. Scholarships are awarded as funds become available (I review applications on a bi-weekly basis)

You’ll receive confirmation of your contribution, and every dollar is used solely to support survivors accessing healing tools.

What Support Can Cover

Your contribution directly funds scholarships for survivors who need:

  • The "Was That Abuse" workbooks and full program support: These resources help survivors recognize abusive patterns, process confusion and self-doubt, and understand what happened to them.

  • The "Rewrite the Rules" guide, course, and survivor community: These resources focus on rebuilding identity, boundaries, confidence, and navigating life after abuse, learning alongside other survivors.

  • Personalized 1:1 Support Calls: The calls provide high-touch support to survivors who need to process workbook and program insights, identify patterns, and discuss next steps in a supportive environment.

Why Your Contribution Matters

Abuse is isolating, confusing, and often minimized, especially when there were no bruises or “obvious” harm.

Your support helps provide:

  • Clarity (“Was this abuse?”)

  • Validation (“It makes sense I feel this way.”)

  • Language to talk about what happened

  • Direction for healing

  • Relief from self-blame

  • Tools for rebuilding identity and trust

For many survivors, these are the first steps toward reclaiming their lives.

A Note From Dr. Ruth

Whether you give $5 or $5,000, your support makes a real difference in someone’s ability to access trauma-informed, research-based, survivor-approved healing tools.

You’re helping someone who lived through hell feel less alone, less confused, and more supported than they have in a long time.

THIS is how we heal! Together, and by the numbers.

Yours (statistically),
Dr. Ruth
